Hong Kong has no tax taken from salary in this calculation: only MPF comes off each month, and the IRD bills salaries tax afterwards. The year of assessment runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. The IRD rate table is headed 2025/26 and its 2026/27 example uses the same bands. Every value, its source and the date it was checked is on Sources and rates.
