Singapore take-home pay calculator, 2026

Monthly pay after CPF and yearly income tax for a citizen, a PR or a foreigner, from the CPF Board and IRAS figures for 2026 income.

12 equal monthly payments are assumed. Only Earned Income Relief and CPF relief are applied. Singapore does not take income tax out of salary, so the tax shown is a yearly bill assessed next year.

How this is calculated

Two parts: CPF now, income tax next year

Your employer takes your share of CPF out of each month's pay. Income tax is not taken out of salary. Income earned in 2026 is assessed in Year of Assessment 2027 and billed after filing. The big number above is the monthly pay that reaches the bank account after CPF. The tables also show the yearly income tax and the monthly average once it is paid.

CPF

CPF Board rates from 1 January 2026 for Singapore Citizens and PRs from the third year: 20% from the employee and 17% from the employer at 55 and below, then lower with age. CPF is charged on the first S$8,000 of Ordinary Wage a month. A bonus is an Additional Wage charged up to S$102,000 less the Ordinary Wage that carried CPF in the year. The total is rounded to the nearest dollar and the cents are dropped from the employee's share. See the CPF guide.

Income tax

IRAS resident rates from YA 2024: 0% on the first S$20,000 of chargeable income, rising band by band to 24% above S$1,000,000. Chargeable income is income less Earned Income Relief (S$1,000 under 55, S$6,000 at 55 to 59, S$8,000 at 60 and over) and, for citizens and PRs, CPF relief equal to the employee CPF. See the income tax guide.

Foreigners

Foreigners on an Employment Pass pay no CPF. A foreigner who stays or works in Singapore for 183 days or more in the year is a tax resident, with the resident rates and Earned Income Relief. A non-resident pays the higher of 15% flat and the resident rates, without reliefs.

Age

One age is used for the whole year. Real payroll changes the CPF rate from the month after a birthday that moves you into the next age band.

Not included

Permanent Residents in their first two years, monthly wages of S$750 or less, reliefs other than the two above, rebates, Budget 2026 measures, and pay that varies by month. Results can differ from your payslip and tax bill.

Examples: salary after CPF and tax table.

This calculator is general information only. It uses the IRAS and CPF Board pages listed on the Sources page, and your payslip, tax bill and personal situation may differ. Rates as at 2 November 2026.
