The calculators and guides on this site are general information. They do not take your personal circumstances into account and they do not recommend any financial product. Results are estimates. Your payslip and the figures your employer or the tax authority give you take priority.

What the calculators leave out

• Overtime, allowances, bonuses, benefits in kind and pay that varies from month to month, and employees paid weekly or daily.
• Life insurance and annuity premiums, home loan interest, other income, a second employer and the filing of a return.
• The employer's pension share and any other employer cost, which are not taken from your pay.
• Voluntary extra pension contributions, and the way a particular employer or state tax authority works out PAYE across the year.

Accuracy and changes

Rates are taken from the pages listed and are dated on the Sources and rates page. None of them could be confirmed on an official page, and the page says so. Laws and rates change, and there can be a delay before the site reflects a change. Rates as at 2 November 2026.

Limit of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss that results from using the site. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be excluded by law.
