Go Home Early Philippines is a small set of free calculators for employees: monthly net pay after SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and withholding tax, with a note on 13th month pay. It is an independent project. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, the Pag-IBIG Fund or any other government body.

Why this exists

The operator has handled pay, tax and payroll calculations for a small team firsthand. The calculators available gave different numbers for the same inputs and did not say where the numbers came from, so the figures had to be worked out again from the official pages. This site publishes that working, with the source and the check date next to each number.

Rates come from the source

The withholding tax table comes from the BIR. The SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG rates and caps come from the schedules of those agencies. The Sources and rates page lists each value, where it came from and the date it was last checked, and says plainly which values could only be read on secondary guides.

Checked against the tables

The calculations are tested against hand calculations from the published tables and an independent second implementation that agrees to the centavo on every test case. The site is not released with a failing test.

Updates

Contribution schedules and tax tables can change by circular or by law. When they do, the values and the checked dates are updated together. If you find an error, tell us.

Every calculation runs in your browser. What you enter is not sent to a server. See the privacy policy.
