The calculators and guides on this site are general information. They do not take your personal circumstances into account. Results are estimates. Your contract, your payroll and the figures your employer, MOHRE or the court give you take priority.

What the calculators leave out

• UAE and GCC nationals (pension legislation), part-time and other work patterns, and domestic workers.
• DIFC, ADGM and other free zones, which may follow their own employment rules.
• Conditions in the Executive Regulation (Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2022), which could not be read in the latest check, and any amendment after the check date.
• Deductions the employer may make from the gratuity, and contract terms that give more than the law.

Accuracy and changes

Rules are taken from the English text on the UAE Government portal, which is marked as not an official translation, and are dated on the Sources and rates page. The Arabic text governs. Laws change, and there can be a delay before the site reflects a change. Rules as at 2 November 2026.

Limit of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss that results from using the site. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be excluded by law.

For a figure that matters, check with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (mohre.gov.ae), the UAE Government portal (u.ae), your employer's payroll team, or a qualified professional.
