These tables cover five states that do not tax wages (Texas, Florida, Washington, Nevada and Tennessee, $30,000 to $200,000) and nine states that do (California, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Virginia, Massachusetts, Illinois, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, $30,000 to $300,000). Washington takes employee premiums for Paid Family and Medical Leave and the WA Cares Fund, so at $100,000 it leaves $1,387.16 less than Texas. For the other states, use the paycheck calculator.
