Privacy policy
This policy explains what Go Home Early Ireland (the site) collects when you use it, and what it does not. It is written for visitors in Ireland and the rest of the European Economic Area.
1. What you enter in the calculator
Amounts and choices you enter are calculated in your browser only. They are not sent to a server and not stored. There are no accounts or logins, so the site does not ask for your name or phone number.
2. What is collected
- Email you send: if you write to the contact address, the site receives your email address and message. It is used to reply and to fix errors, and deleted once the matter is closed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Hosting records: the hosting provider (Cloudflare) can process your IP address, browser details and request time for security and reliability.
- Fonts: the site uses the fonts already on your device and does not load fonts from another site.
3. Cookies and advertising
The site itself sets no cookies, and its own statistics set none either. Where the site shows third-party advertising, it is provided by Google AdSense, which loads Google's advertising script. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads, and in Ireland and the rest of the European Economic Area those cookies need your consent.
You are asked first, through Google's consent message (a Google-certified consent management platform). You can consent, not consent, or choose by purpose under Manage options. If you do not consent, the calculator works the same and any ads shown are limited, non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy and cookie settings link on the page, or by deleting this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the message back. What you enter in the calculator is not passed to advertisers.
4. Visit statistics
Visits to each page are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not follow individual visitors. It records aggregate figures such as page address, referrer, country and device type.
To see whether the calculator is used, a result on screen sends only the calculator's name (ie-pay) to this site. The numbers you entered, your IP address and browser details are not sent with it or stored.
5. Sharing and transfers
The site does not sell personal information. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which operates a global network and may process data outside the European Economic Area, email may pass through a mail forwarding service, and Google provides advertising. These providers process data under their own terms and safeguards; see their policies.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete an email you sent, and you can object to our use of it, by writing to the contact address. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.
