Go Home Early Saudi Arabia is a small set of free calculators for employees in the Saudi private sector: the end-of-service award, pay for unused annual leave and overtime. It is an independent project. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) or any other government body.

Why this exists

The operator has handled pay, tax and payroll calculations for a small team firsthand. The calculators available gave different numbers for the same inputs and did not say where the numbers came from, so the figures had to be worked out again from the official text. This site publishes that working, with the article and the check date next to each number.

Rules come from the source

The award, resignation, leave and overtime rules come from the Labor Law (Royal Decree No. M/51) as the English translation on the HRSD site gives it, and from the HRSD awareness guide of December 2025. The Sources and rates page lists each rule, where it came from and the date it was last checked, and what could not be confirmed, including the 2025 amended text, which could not be opened.

Checked against a second implementation

The calculations are tested against hand calculations and an independent second implementation that agrees to the halala on every test case. No official worked example of the award was found to test against. The site is not released with a failing test.

Updates

Labour rules can change by royal decree. When they do, the values and the checked dates are updated together. If you find an error, tell us.
